Pacifism

Det finns ytterligare citat jag tänker på när jag ser denna bild. George Orwell och Theodore Roosewelt. Den förstnämnde har sagt någonting i stil med att "People sleep peacefully at night because rough men stand ready to do violance in their behalf" och Teddy tyckte att "No man who refuses to bear arms in defence of his country can give a sound reason why he should be allowed to live in a free nation."

Kommer ni på fler så hojta till. Voltaire, kanske?

I princip kan jag känna bara synd om pacifism, särskilt i fråga om sådana situationer som i Afghanistan. Om vi drar tillbaka blir det ingen fredlig Utopia. Men de kommer inte att lyssna.
